Innovation Discipline – Metrics & Culture
The IXL Center offers the Innovation Discipline – Metrics and Culture course. You will learn about the unwritten rules of the game in your company to understand the culture and the barriers, define the growth gaps, innovation targets and strategic innovation pipeline or portfolio. You will also learn about metrics for driving capacity and speed from concept to commercialization. You will also define the metrics to drive tolerance and ability to stay the path and course correct if needed across and up and down the enterprise.
Action-Learning Project
The IXL Center offers the Action-Learning Program Innovation Olympics to enable individuals to apply what they have learned during the five Innovation courses, and gain competence and confidence to think and act differently to make innovation real with a real business or company.
Eureka sofware: Creating Breakthrough Ideas
IXL’s Eureka process, software, and tools are the basis for a course in creating breakthrough ideas through a process of divergence and convergence. Students are taught to define an innovation landscape, map fields of play, generate new growth concepts, match them with business models, and to build initial business cases for each innovation.
Making Innovation Real
The IXL Center offers the Making Innovation Real as a turbo-training course that is insightful and actionable that helps you link your innovation initiatives to your strategy to make innovation real in your organization.

TRIZ Turbo (IM-608)
The IXL Center offers the TRIZ Innovation Elective course for individuals and companies who wants to learn about TRIZ, an innovation technique used by the Russians to beat the West and lead the world in science and technology. Healthcare Innovation (IM-609)
The IXL Center offers the Healthcare Innovation Elective course for individuals and companies who wants to learn how to increase the innovation capacity and improve innovation performance for individuals and teams in new drug development in the Healthcare industry. The IXL Center offers the Open Innovation and Partnering Elective course for individuals and companies who wants to learn how to source and develop innovations across and beyond your extended enterprise; and learn how to build win-win relationships and alliances across functions and businesses and across the value chain from concept to customer. Innovation Portfolio (IM-611)
IXL’s innovation management system is taught in this course. The course covers building a product pipeline, building an innovation portfolio, responding the the competitive and trend environment, leveraging partnerships across the supply and value chain, open innovation, and managing ambiguity and uncertainty.
